The story of HALBSTARK began in 2016 with a small trailer. Back then, we travelled to markets, festivals, and events – always driven by the passion to serve the best coffee in every cup. The vision of bringing specialty coffee permanently to our city became reality in 2018, when we proudly opened our café in Detmold.
Since then, we’ve been happy to serve our guests six days a week – with great coffee and homemade pastries. For us, coffee is a fruit, and behind every bean lies a story and a face of its origin. We're always aiming for a good and balanced cup of coffee.
January 2024 we started roasting our own coffee. This step is the natural next chapter in our pursuit of the perfectly balanced cup. We’re committed to keeping the process behind our coffee as open and transparent as possible.
From 2024 onward, you can enjoy HALBSTARK coffee not only in our café, but also at home, at work, or wherever you brew your cup.
