The story of HALBSTARK starts in 2016 with a small trailer. Back then we were out and about at markets, festivals and catering events, always with the passion of serving the best coffee in every cup. The vision of bringing specialty coffee permanently to our city became reality in 2018 when we proudly opened our shop in Detmold.

Since then, we have been looking forward to serving our guests the best coffee and homemade pastries six days a week. We firmly believe that coffee is more than just a drink. For us, coffee is a fruit, and behind every bean there is a different story and an individual face.

We are excited to announce that starting this year we will be roasting our own coffee! For us, this step is the logical consequence on the way to the perfect cup of coffee. We are committed to making the process of creating our coffee as honest and transparent as possible. From 2024 you will be able to experience the pleasure of a distinctive half-strength cup of coffee not only in our café, but also at home, in the office or wherever you prepare coffee!
